Definition of the magazine in terms of its scope Definition of the magazine in terms of its scope
Our magazine is an editorial project at the service of administrative science researchers worldwide. We want to publish the avant-garde in the field of research on the Administration privileging issues and subjects that have been little studied.
Our review is aimed at administrative science researchers. We wish to publish research articles, with representative samples that study subjects and research subjects that have been little studied using methodologies with rigorous data validation instruments such as: Primary exploration techniques: Cluster analysis, Exploratory factor analysis, multidimensional scaling, Covariance analysis, logistic regression analysis and multiple regression.
Second generation multivariate techniques such as: Partial Least squares sructiral equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and Confirmatory factor analysis and Covariance based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) are particularly welcome.
Likewise, we wish to publish research using complex system techniques such as complex network analysis, agent-based modeling, multi-agent models that identify organizational and administrative behavior patterns.
Qualitative investigations are welcome as long as they have rigorous hermeneutic analysis designs with identification of analysis categories that preferably use semantic analysis software such as Atlas ti.
Both types of research represent 75% of what is published in each issue of the journal. Although we do not underestimate the work of theoretical review and reflection, these must address problems, subjects, groups, groups of companies or institutions on which there is little literature or that allows to present avant-gardes on the field of administrative science, reviewing literature that is find in the state of the art of the field, thus understanding literature about the last five years. The review or reflection articles in no case exceed 25% of each copy of our magazine.

The editor of the magazine will acknowledge receipt of the work, within a period not exceeding five business days as long as it meets the editorial criteria, otherwise they will be immediately returned to the applicants.
The author assigns the publication rights to the Administrative Research journal and guarantees with an autograph signature of the sole author or of all co-authors that the article is original and has not been nominated simultaneously to other journals, nor has it been published in advance.
You must sign the official letter available at:
The submission of articles does not oblige the editorial committee of Administrative Research to publish it.
Within a maximum period of three months, the results of the arbitration will be announced by trade that is sent by email. The arbitration process in no case takes more than six months. This period is reserved for those articles in which there is controversy among the arbitrators about their suitability and therefore requires a third arbitration.
All the members that make up the editorial committee, as well as those who serve as arbitrators, hold the degree of Doctor (PhD) and are members of the National System of Researchers or professors of foreign countries with academic hierarchy equivalent to that of a professor in the Anglo-Saxon world.
All members of the editorial committee are scientists of high academic prestige who are leaders in their fields of knowledge.
It is reiterated that all the articles received will be arbitrated by two members of the magazine's portfolio of arbitrators under the “double blind” modality, to guarantee their inclusion in indexes of Mexican and foreign journals of greater prestige.
The articles nominated by researchers of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional will be evaluated externally by two arbitrators from other institutions under the “double blind” modality
Administrative research adheres to COPE. standards, All papers that are accepted for application will be reviewed with the Turnitin. software. To be published, the postulated articles must have a maximum of 24% similarity index provided that the paraphrase of the ited authors is used correctly. The journal declares that it is considered unacceptable conduct to discover that plagiarism or self-plagiarism of research work is performed. Since the originality and the unpublished condition of the works is a fundamental requirement. The authors therefore sign a letter guaranteeing that:
There is no conflict of interest.
There is ethics in the design of studies.
Compliance with ethical standards for review is ensured.
There is originality of the publications and the magazine's policy against plagiarism is accepted.
The following instances constitute plagiarism:
Authorship is omitted or the glossary is not cited.
Minimal changes are made to the text of a third party and presented as original.
Although authorship is noted, plagiarism is presented because the original text is reproduced with a few changes that do not constitute paraphrase.
Complex plagiarism is incurred when there is an original authorship reference, but the source pages are inaccurately indicated.
Paraphrasing as plagiarism occurs when paraphrasing and not referring to the original source. Paraphrasing is not considered plagiarism when it does not dominate over the work of the writer, it is used to allow the author to interact critically with the views of another person, and the source is mentioned correctly.
“Self-plagiarism” or recycling fraud occurs when the appearance of a job is changed and is presented as if it were a different one or the indication that the job is being recycled is omitted.
To treat cases of plagiarism, these procedures are followed:
If plagiarism is detected, the authors are informed of the evidence of plagiarism detected and will be asked for a response.
If the answer is not satisfactory, the manuscript will not be submitted for external evaluation and the journal will not receive more articles from the authors. In serious cases in the opinion of the editorial committee, the media in which the original plagiarized article was published (whether it is self-plagiarism or copies of third parties) will be reported.
Only three types of work are admitted: Research Articles, Reflection Articles, State of the Art Review Articles. Trials, case studies or papers that are exactly the same as those previously presented at conferences are not accepted. ** The Administrative Research Magazine privileges research articles which constitute at least 75% of each number.
Investigation article. This type of article presents in detail the original results of unpublished original research projects. Its structure includes four important parts. The articles follow the IMRAD structure: Introduction, methodology, results, analysis and discussion.
Key elements for Research Articles
Introduction Review of the state of the art and identification of the problem Objectives of the study
Research method Analysis and discussion
Relevance of results, research limitations. It is essential to point out the limitations of the research and the relevance of the findings in relation to the state of the art

The files must contain the text in Word, if as the parallel translation of the title into the English language. The title of the article must be concise and correspond to the content. It should not have more than 10 words and should include the research subjects and the time and space horizon, clearly mentioned where and when the research was done. If this was done in the same year it will not be necessary to indicate it.
The analytical summary (not exceeding 150 words) must also contain five to seven keywords of the article. Likewise, the graphs, tables, images and other elements must be attached in Power Point and inserted in the same Word document and must be prepared, without shadows or other graphic effects, following the style mentioned later in the section specific guidelines of form and style.

Call for articles
The postulated articles will be put under the attention of two experts in the subject, so that they independently carry out a “double blind” evaluation and assess the possible publication of the work, considering the following criteria: originality, quality and academic level, contribution to knowledge and to the teaching, clarity in the presentation, in the writing and of the literature, interest and actuality of the subject. The arbitrator gives his opinion in a suggested format. The magazine has previously reviewed the profiles of the referees and considers that they have sufficient academic knowledge to carry out their work with complete independence. The evaluation of articles by the authors of the National Polytechnic Institute is always done with external evaluators who do not belong to this institution, for their opinion.
The arbitration process of the journal is carried out under the conditions of “double blind” arbitration. (Double-Blind Peer Review). The magazine reserves all the data of the authors and referees, the details and results of the process will only be disclosed to those directly involved (authors and the editor).
Between the summons of the articles, their reception, their acceptance and delivery of the arbitration by the arbitrator a maximum period of three months elapses. However, this period may be shorter or longer, depending on the availability of the arbitrators and other factors that could delay or speed up the process.
The journal will only send to the authors an official communication about its article, once it has the result of the arbitration of two arbitrators on the conditioned acceptance (with slight changes) or rejection (with modifications that imply a substantial rethinking of the article.
Similarly inform when the article is not consistent with the interest of the magazine. In case there are differences in the two arbitrations received on the same article, the work will be sent to a third arbitrator to perform the tiebreaker, except in the case where the reasons for the rejection are very forceful in the opinion of the editor in chief in in which case the notification of rejection will be sent immediately to the authors.
For the approval in case of controversy it will always be necessary to have two favorable opinions of the referees of the magazine.
Delivery of corrections
If the arbitrations suggest minor modifications, the authors will be notified immediately to make the changes in a period not exceeding 5 days. If the article receives arbitration suggesting substantial modifications, and the edition considers that it can be accepted for a new cycle of evaluations, the authors will have to submit their adjustments in a period not exceeding one month. At the end of this period the article is considered rejected due to lack of interest of the authors in attending the changes.
Rejection of articles. The purpose of the evaluation process in Administrative Research, in addition to validating the advances in knowledge in the thematic areas of the journal, is to offer the authors an opportunity to improve their proposals and refine their approaches towards building stronger articles. Authors are expected to take advantage of the arbitrators' comments when their article is discarded for publication. The final rejection will be given when it does not correspond to the editorial or thematic line of the magazine.
